Load conditions will have an effect on the deceleration rate as the motor coasts to stop (for example, mechanical loss
and inertia).
Note:
The drive ignores the Run command for the time set in L2-03 [Minimum Baseblock Time] when you enter a Stop command or switch OFF
the Run command. Make sure that the motor stops completely before you enter a Run command. Use DC Injection or Speed Search to restart
the motor before it stops.
2 : DC Injection Braking to Stop
When you enter the Stop command or turn OFF the Run command, the drive turns OFF the output for the time set in
L2-03. The drive waits for the minimum baseblock time and then injects the amount of DC current into the motor set
in b2-02 [DC Injection Braking Current] to stop the motor with DC current.
DC Injection Braking stops the motor more quickly than coast to stop.
Note:
If A1-02 = 5, DC Injection Braking to Stop is not available.
b2-02:
b2-04:
The value set in b2-04 and the output frequency when the drive receives the Stop command determine the DC
Injection Braking time. The drive calculates the DC Injection Braking time as in
