The permit argument specifies that the matching mode for the defined nodes in a
route-policy is "permit". In this mode, if a route matches all the if-match clauses of a
node, the system executes the apply clauses of the node but does not perform the
match test of the next node. If not, the system goes on the match test of the next node.
The deny argument specifies that the matching mode for the defined nodes in a
route-policy is "deny". In this mode, no apply clause is executed. If a route matches
all the if-match clauses of a node, the system considers that the route fails to pass
through the node and does not take the match test of the next node. If not, the system
goes on the match test of the next node.
The relationships among different nodes in a route-policy are logical "OR". The
system examines the nodes in a route-policy in sequence. If a route matches a node
in the route-policy, which means the route matches the whole route-policy.
By default, no route-policy is defined.
Note:
Among the nodes defined in a route-policy, at least one node should be in permit
mode. When a route-policy applies to filter routing information, a route will be denied
as long as its routing information does not match any node. If all the nodes in the
route-policy are in deny mode, all routes will be denied by the route-policy.
II. Define if-match Clauses for a Node
An if-match clause defines a matching rule, that is, filtering conditions that routing
information should satisfy to pass the match test of the current route-policy. The
matching objects are some attributes of routing information.
