  • Page 2 Do not place the switch on a moist area and avoid liquid flowing into the switch. 3.1.3 Safety of Moving S7500 Series Switches are rather big and heavy, so follow the recommendations below when moving them. Turn off all the powers and remove all the power cords before opening the chassis.
  • Page 3 The ESD wrist strap is shipped with the S7500 Series Ethernet Switches. There is an ESD wrist strap hole above the SRPU slot of the S7500 Series Switch chassis. The grounding screw is located on the power distribution box sit on the back floor of the chassis.
  • Page 4 Staring at the laser beam inside the fiber could hurt your eyes. 3.2 Examining Installation Site S7500 series Ethernet switches can only be used indoors. To ensure that the switch works normally and expand its service life, the installation environment shall meet the requirements below.
