Function
For connection to the power supply. V
be connected to the system power supply.
For connection to ground. V
connected to the system power supply (0 V).
Power supply pin for the on-chip PLL oscillator.
Ground pin for the on-chip PLL oscillator.
For connection to a crystal oscillator. See section
21, Clock Pulse Generator for typical connection
diagrams for a crystal oscillator and external clock
input.
For connection to a crystal oscillator. The EXTAL pin
can also input an external clock. See section 21,
Clock Pulse Generator for typical connection
diagrams for a crystal oscillator and external clock
input.
connected to the CLK pin of the synchronous
DRAM. For details, refer to section 6, Bus
Controller.
These pins set the operating mode. These pins
should not be changed while the MCU is operating.
When this pin is driven high for the H8S/2378R
series, SDRAM dedicated to the synchronous
DRAM is output.
When not using the synchronous DRAM interface or
for the H8S/2378 series, drive this pin low. The
level of this pin must not be changed during
operation.
Reset pin. When this pin is driven low, the chip is
reset.
When this pin is driven low, a transition is made to
hardware standby mode.
Enables the emulator. This pin should be connected
to the power supply (0 V).
