Power supply pins. Connect all these pins to the
system power supply.
Ground pins. Connect all these pins to the system
power supply (0 V).
External capacitance pin for internal power-down
power supply. Connect this pin to VSS via a 0.1-
µF capacitor (placed close to the pins).
On-chip PLL oscillator ground pin.
External capacitance pin for an on-chip PLL
oscillator.
For connection to a crystal resonator. For
examples of crystal resonator connection and
external clock input, see section 20, Clock Pulse
Generator.
For connection to a crystal resonator. (An
external clock can be supplied from the EXTAL
pin.) For examples of crystal resonator
connection and external clock input, see section
20, Clock Pulse Generator.
Supplies the system clock to external devices.
Set the operating mode. Inputs at these pins
should not be changed during operation.
Reset input pin. When this pin is low, the chip is
reset.
When this pin is low, a transition is made to
hardware standby mode.
Pin for use by flash memory. This pin is only used
in the flash memory version.
