apply-template
To apply a template to the target configuration, use the apply-template command in global configuration
mode.
Syntax Description

Usage Guidelines
To use this command, you must be in a user group associated with a task group that includes the proper
task IDs.
Use the apply-template command to apply a template to the target configuration. Templates allow you
to create a template name that represents a group of configuration commands.
Use the
configuration mode and return to global configuration mode. Use the
with the optional template keyword and template-name argument to display the contents of a template.

The following example shows how to define a template and then apply the template to the target
