Configuration Management Commands on Cisco IOS XR Software
pwd (config)
To display the current configuration submode from a configuration submode, use the pwd command in
any supported configuration submode.
Syntax Description
This command has no arguments or keywords.
Defaults
No default behavior or values

Usage Guidelines
To use this command, you must be in a user group associated with a task group that includes the proper
task IDs.
Use the pwd command to determine within which configuration submode you are currently located.
Examples
The following example shows how to use the pwd command from an interface configuration submode:
RP/0/RP0/CPU0:router# configure
RP/0/RP0/CPU0:router(config)# interface pos 0/6/4/5
RP/0/RP0/CPU0:router(config-if)# pwd
interface POS0/6/4/5
RP/0/RP0/CPU0:router(config-if)#
