snmp-server engineid
To specify Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) engine ID on the local device, use the
snmp-server engineid local command in global configuration mode. To return the engine ID to the
default, use the no form of this command.
Syntax Description
engine-id
Defaults An SNMP engine ID is generated automatically.

Usage Guidelines To use this command, you must be in a user group associated with a task group that includes the proper
task IDs.
