Configuration Management Commands on Cisco IOS XR Software
show configuration commit list
To display information about the configuration commits stored in the commit database, use the show
configuration commit list command in EXEC, administration EXEC, administration configuration, or
global configuration mode.

If this command is entered without any optional arguments or keywords, the output displays information
about all the configuration commits stored in the commit database.

Usage Guidelines
To use this command, you must be in a user group associated with a task group that includes the proper
task IDs.
Use the show configuration commit list command to list the commit IDs (up to 100) that are available
for rollback.
The most recent 100 commits are retained by the system. As new commit IDs are added, the oldest

commit IDs are discarded and are no longer available for rollback operations.

The following is sample output from the show configuration commit list command. The output displays
the commit IDs that are available for rollback.
