clear install boot-options
To clear the boot options for a specified location or for all locations, use the clear install boot-options
command.
Syntax Description
location node-id
all
Defaults
If no location is specified, the clear install boot-options command prompts you for confirmation and
clears boot options for all locations.

Usage Guidelines
To use this command, you must be in a user group associated with a task group that includes the proper
task IDs.
Use the clear install boot-options command to clear boot options that were set using the install
boot-options command.

The following example shows how to clear the boot options for all locations:
RP/0/RP0/CPU0:router(admin)#clear install boot-options
Install operation 4 '(admin) clear install boot-options location all' started

Proceed with clearing boot options for all nodes? [confirm]

Specifies a node. The node-id argument is expressed in rack/slot/module
notation.
Clears boot options for all locations.
