clear cdp counters
To reset Cisco Discovery Protocol (CDP) traffic counters to zero (0), use the clear cdp counters
command in EXEC mode.

To use this command, you must be in a user group associated with a task group that includes the proper
task IDs.

The following example shows how to clear CDP counters. The show cdp traffic output shows that all
traffic counters have been reset to zero (0).
