disconnect-character
To define a character to disconnect a session, use the disconnect-character command in line template
configuration mode. To remove the disconnect-character command from the configuration file and
restore the system to its default condition, use the no form of this command.

Usage Guidelines
To use this command, you must be in a user group associated with a task group that includes the proper
task IDs.
The break character is represented by 0; null cannot be represented. Refer to the "ASCII Character Set
and Hex Values" appendix for a list of ASCII characters.

Examples
The following example shows how to set the disconnect character for the default line template to the Esc
character, which is the ASCII decimal equivalent 27:
RP/0/RP0/CPU0:router(config)# line default
RP/0/RP0/CPU0:router(config-line)# disconnect-character 27
