configure pim timer <hello_interval> <jp_interval> [{vlan} <vlan_name> |
vlan all]
Description
Configures the global PIM timers on specified VLAN(s).
Syntax Description
hello_interval
jp_interval
vlan_name
all
Default
• hello_interval—30 seconds.
• jp_interval—60 seconds.
Usage Guidelines
None.
Example
The following command configures the PIM timers on the VLAN accounting:
configure pim timer 150 300 vlan accounting
History
This command was available in ExtremeWare XOS 10.1.

Specifies the amount of time before a hello message is sent out by the PIM
router. The range is 1 to 65,519 seconds.
Specifies the join/prune interval. The range is 1 to 65,519 seconds.
Specifies a VLAN name.
Specifies all VLANs.
