nslookup

nslookup <host-name-or-ip>
Description
Displays the IP address or hostname of the requested host.
Syntax Description
host-name-or-ip
Specifies the hostname or IP address.
Default
N/A.
Usage Guidelines
None.
Example
The following command looks up the IP address of a computer with the name of bigserver.xyz_inc.com:
nslookup bigserver.xyz_inc.com
History
This command was first available in ExtremeWare XOS 10.1.
Support for using an IP address to obtain the name of the host was added in ExtremeWare XOS 11.0.
