DTC P0120 THROTTLE POSITION CIRCUIT MALFUNCTION

DTC DETECTING CONDITION AND TROUBLE AREA
DTC DETECTING CONDITION
DTC will set when either of the following conditions is detected.
D TP sensor signal terminal voltage continues less than 0.1 V for 1 sec.
D TP sensor signal terminal voltage continues more than 4.8 V for 1 sec.
DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
NOTE:
D When DTC P0100, P0110, P0115, P0120, P0135 and/or P1408 are indicated together, it is possible that
"Or" circuit is open.
D When DTC P0120 and P1408 are indicated together, it is possible that "P/G" circuit is open.
D When this DTC and P1700 are stored together, also clear DTC stored in TCM after completion of repair.
1) With ignition switch OFF, connect scan tool.
2) Turn ON ignition switch and clear DTC by using scan tool if any.
3) Start engine and run it for 10 sec.
4) Check DTC by using scan tool.
