2. Generator adjust arm reinforcement
3. Right mounting bracket stiffener
1. Intake manifold gasket
ENGINE MECHANICAL (G13/G16 TYPE ENGINE) 6A1-13
5) Disconnect the following electric lead wires and release clamp:
D Ground wires from intake manifold and throttle body
D TP sensor
D IAC valve
D Fuel injectors
D EVAP canister purge valve (if equipped)
D MAP sensor
D EGR valve (if equipped)
6) Disconnect the following hoses:
D Brake booster hose from intake manifold
D Canister purge hose from EVAP canister purge valve
D Engine cooling water (coolant) hoses from IAC valve and in-
take manifold
D PCV hose
7) Disconnect fuel feed hose from pipe and return hose from fuel
pressure regulator.
8) Remove intake manifold rear stiffener bolt, generator adjust
arm reinforcement bolt and right mounting bracket stiffener bolt
from intake manifold.
9) Remove intake manifold with throttle body from cylinder head,
and then its gasket.
