DTC TROUBLESHOOTING
STEP
1 Was "ENGINE DIAG. FLOW TABLE" performed?
2 Fuel Level Sensor Signal Circuit check:
1) With ignition switch OFF, disconnect G18 of
combination meter coupler.
2) Remove ECM cover.
3) With ignition switch ON leaving engine OFF,
check voltage between E91-8 and ground.
Is voltage about 0 V?
3 Fuel Level Sensor check:
1) Remove fuel level sensor referring to "ENGINE
FUEL" section.
2) With ignition switch OFF, connect L36 coupler
to R01 coupler.
3) With ignition switch OFF, disconnect G10 cou-
pler of combination meter.
3) Check resistance between E91-8 and ground.
float level "FULL"
float level "EMPTY"
Is check result satisfied?

ACTION
10 W or less
about 120 W
YES
Go to Step 2.
Go to Step 3.
Intermittent trouble.
If OK, substitute a
known-good ECM and
recheck.
NO
Go to "ENGINE DIAG.
FLOW TABLE".
"P/Bl" wire shorted to
power circuit.
Faulty fuel level sensor
or its harness.
