Expansion valve: Removal - Refitting
V4Y or V9X, and AIR CONDITIONING 01 or AIR CONDITIONING 02
a Position the expansion valve on the threaded rods.
a Push the expansion valve and pull the threaded rods
to fit the expansion valve to the evaporator connect-
ing pipes.

a Remove the first threaded rod (5) M5 X 80 length =
80 mm.
a Refit the corresponding bolt to the expansion valve.
a Remove the second threaded rod (7) M5 X 80
length = 80 mm.
a Refit the corresponding bolt to the expansion valve.
a Remove the tool (Car. 1363).
a Torque tighten the expansion valve bolts (6 N.m).
