Condenser - expansion valve connecting pipe: Removal - Refitting
F4R, and AIR CONDITIONING 01 or AIR CONDITIONING 02
a Remove the bolt (5) from the "condenser - expan-
sion valve" connecting pipe bracket on the expan-
sion valve.
a Uncouple the "condenser - expansion valve" con-
necting pipe from the expansion valve.
a Insert the blanking plugs.
a Unclip the "condenser - expansion valve" connect-
ing pipe at (6) .
a Remove the "condenser - expansion valve" connect-
ing pipe.

REFITTING
I - REFITTING PREPARATION OPERATION
a Always replace the seals for the refrigerant connect-
ing pipes.
WARNING
Do not remove the blanking plugs from each
component until the last moment.
Also, do not remove the components from their
packaging until they are to be fitted to the vehi-
cle.
a Remove the blanking plugs from the cold loop open-
ings.
II - REFITTING OPERATION FOR PART
CONCERNED
a
WARNING
To avoid any leaks, check that the pipe surface is
sound before positioning the new seal. The sur-
face must be clean and scratch free.
a Fit new seals to the refrigerant connecting pipes.
a Lubricate the seals using the air conditioning oil to
make fitting easier.
a Refit the "condenser - expansion valve" connecting
pipe.
a Clip on the "condenser - expansion valve" connect-
ing pipe.
a Couple the "condenser - expansion valve" connect-
ing pipe to the expansion valve.
a Refit the "condenser - expansion valve" connecting
pipe bracket bolt on the expansion valve.
a Couple the "condenser - expansion valve" connect-
ing pipe to the condenser.
a Refit the nut to the "condenser - expansion valve"
connecting pipe bracket on the condenser.
a Torque tighten:
- the "condenser - expansion valve" connecting
pipe bracket bolt on the expansion valve (8
Nm),
- the nut for the "condenser - expansion valve"
connecting pipe bracket on the condenser (8
Nm).
