12. Check for continuity between PCM connector
terminal E5 and body g r o u n d .

Is there continuity?
Y E S — R e p a i r short in the w i r e between the PCM
(E5) and PGM-FI main relay 1 (Fl MAIN), then go to
step 20.
NO—Go to step 19.
13. Reconnect PCM connector E (31P).
14. Measure voltage between PCM connector terminal
E5 and body g r o u n d .

Y E S — G o t o step 15.
N O — G o t o step 27.
15. Disconnect PCM connector A (31P).
16. Measure voltage between PCM connector terminal
A4 and body g r o u n d .

Y E S — G o t o step 17.
NO—Go to step 27.
17. Remove the left kick panel (see page 20-45). Then
remove PGM-FI main relay 1 (Fl MAIN) (A) f r o m the
under-dash fuse/relay box.
