8. Coat the new O-ring (A) w i t h clean engine oil, and insert the injector (B) into the fuel rail (C).
9. Install the injector clip (D).
10. Coat the injector O-ring (E) w i t h clean engine oil.
11. Install the injectors in the injector base (F).
12. Install the fuel rail m o u n t i n g nuts.
13. Connect the connectors on the injectors.
14. Connect the quick-connect fittings.
15. Turn the ignition switch ON (II), but do not operate the starter. After the fuel p u m p runs for about 2 seconds, the
fuel rail w i l l be pressurized. Repeat this t w o or three times, then check for fuel leakage.
16. Install the intake manifold (see page 9-5).
