3. Before connecting a new fuel tube/quick-connect
fitting assembly (A), remove the old retainer f r o m
the mating line.

4.| Align the quick-connect fittings w i t h the line (A),
and align the retainer locking tabs (B) w i t h the
connector tabs (C). Then press the quick-connect
fittings onto the line until both retainer pawls lock
w i t h a clicking sound.
NOTE: If it is hard to c o n n e c t put a small a m o u n t of
new engine oil on the line end.
