Active Control Engine Mount (ACM) System
D T C T r o u b l e s h o o t i n g (cont'd)
DTC P15AF: CMP Signal Malfunction
NOTE: If DTC P0340 and/or P0344 is stored at the same
t i m e as DTC P15AF, troubleshoot DTC P0340 and/or
P0344 f i r s t then recheck for DTC P15AF.
1. Turn the ignition switch ON (II).
2. Clear the DTC w i t h the HDS.
3. Start the engine, and let it idle 10 seconds.
4. Check for Temporary DTCs or DTCs w i t h the HDS.
Is DTC P15AF
indicated?
Y E S — G o t o step 5.
NO—Intermittent failure, system is OK at this t i m e .
Check for poor connections or loose terminals at
the PCM and the engine m o u n t control unit. •
5. Turn the ignition switch OFF.
6. Check for poor connections at the PCM connector E
(31P) and the engine m o u n t control unit 20P
connector.
Are the connections
OK?
Y E S — G o t o s t e p 7 .
NO—Repair the poor connections, then go to
step 23.
7. Disconnect the CMP sensor 3P connector.
8. Turn the ignition switch ON (II).
9. Measure voltage between engine m o u n t control
unit 20P connector terminal No. 15 and body
g r o u n d .

Y E S — G o t o step 10.
N O — G o t o step 13.
10. Turn the ignition switch OFF.
11. Disconnect the engine m o u n t control unit 20P
connector.
