13. Check for continuity between M C M connector
terminals A 6 \ A7 and body g r o u n d individually.

Is there continuity?
Y E S — G o t o step 14.
NO—Repair open in the w i r e between the M C M
(A7 ( A 6 D and the PCM (D13 (D1)*), then go to
step 43.
14. Check for continuity between the A/C compressor
driver 4P connector terminals No. 2, No. 3* and
body g r o u n d individually.

15. Remove the j u m p e r wire f r o m PCM connector
D(17P).
16. Reconnect M C M connector A (31P).
17. Measure resistance between M C M connector
terminals A6* and A7.

Wire side of female terminals
Is there about 108— 132 & at room temperature?
Y E S — G o t o step 18.
NO—Substitute a known-good MCM (see page
12-8), then go to step 43 and recheck. If DTC U0037
is not indicated, replace the original M C M , then go
to step 43.
18. Disconnect M C M connector A (31P).
19. Reconnect the A/C compressor driver 4P connector.
Wire side of female terminals
Is there continuity?
Y E S — G o t o step 15.
NO—Repair open in the w i r e between the A/C
compressor driver (No. 2 (No. 3)*) and the PCM
(D13 ( D 1 D , then go to step 43.
