Active Control Engine Mount (ACM) System
D T C T r o u b l e s h o o t i n g ( c o n t ' d )
DTC P16C6: Engine Mount Actuator High
Voltage During Function Test
NOTE:
• If DTC P0A14, P0A16, P0AB6, P0AB8, P16C7, or P16C8
are stored at the same t i m e as DTC P16C6,
troubleshoot those DTCs first, then recheck for
P16C6.
• Information marked w i t h an asterisk (*) applies to the
rear active control engine m o u n t (ACM) actuator.
1. Turn the ignition switch ON (II).
2. Clear the DTCs w i t h the HDS.
3. Do the A C M ACTIVATION w i t h VTEC in the
INSPECTION MENU w i t h the HDS.
4. Check for Temporary DTCs or DTCs with the HDS.
Is DTC P16C6
indicated?
Y E S — G o t o step 5.
NO—Intermittent failure, system is OK at this t i m e .
Check for poor connections or loose terminals at
the engine m o u n t control unit and the active
control engine mount (ACM) actuator. •
5. Turn the ignition switch OFF.
6. Disconnect the active control engine m o u n t (ACM)
actuator 2P connector.
7. Disconnect the engine m o u n t control unit 20P
connector.
Measure voltage between body g r o u n d and the
appropriate PCM connector terminal (see table).

Is there battery
voltage?
YES—Repair short to power in the w i r e between
the engine m o u n t control unit and the active
control engine m o u n t (ACM) actuator, then go to
step 13.
NO—Go to step 10.
8. Turn the ignition switch ON (II).
