DTC P0533: A/C Pressure Sensor Circuit High
Voltage
1. Turn the ignition switch ON (II).
2. Check the A/C PRESSURE SENSOR in the DATA
LIST w i t h the HDS.
Is there about 4.75 V or more?
Y E S — G o t o step 3.
NO—Intermittent failure, system is OK at this t i m e .
Check for poor connections or loose terminals at
the A/C pressure sensor and the PCM. •
3. Turn the ignition switch OFF.
4. Disconnect the A/C pressure sensor 3P connector.
5. Connect A/C pressure sensor 3P connector
terminals No. 2 and No. 3 w i t h a j u m p e r w i r e .

Wire side of f e m a l e t e r m i n a l s
6. Turn the ignition switch ON (II).
7. Check the A/C PRESSURE SENSOR in the DATA
LIST w i t h the HDS.
Is there about 4.75 V or more?
Y E S — G o t o step 8.
NO—Go to step 19.
8. Remove the j u m p e r w i r e f r o m the A/C pressure
sensor 3P connector.
9. Measure voltage between A/C pressure sensor 3P
connector terminals No. 1 and No. 3.

Is there about 5 V?
Y E S — G o t o step 15.
N O - G o t o step 10.
10. Turn the ignition switch OFF.
11. J u m p the SCS line w i t h the HDS.
12. Disconnect PCM connector C (22P).
13. Connect A/C pressure sensor 3P connector terminal
No. 3 to body ground w i t h a j u m p e r wire.
