DTC Troubleshooting (cont'd)
DTC P0113: IAT Sensor 1 Circuit High Voltage
1. Turn the ignition switch ON (II).
2. Check IAT SENSOR 1 in the DATA LIST w i t h the
HDS.
Is about - 40 °F (-40 °C) or less, or 4.90 V or
higher indicated?
Y E S — G o to step 3.
IMO—Intermittent failure, system is OK at this t i m e .
Check for poor connections or loose terminals at
IAT sensor 1 and the P C M . B
3. T u r n the ignition switch OFF.
4. Disconnect the MAF sensor/IAT sensor 1 5P
connector.
5. Connect MAF sensor/IAT sensor 1 5P connector
terminals No. 1 and No. 2 w i t h a j u m p e r w i r e .

6. Turn the ignition switch ON (II).
7. Check IAT SENSOR 1 in the DATA LIST w i t h the
HDS.
Is about - 40 °F (-40 °C) or less, or 4.90 V or
higher indicated?
Y E S — G o t o step 8.
N O — G o t o step 18.
8. Turn the ignition switch OFF.
9. Remove the j u m p e r wire.
10. Turn the ignition switch ON (II).
11. Measure voltage between MAF sensor/IAT sensor 1
5P connector terminal No. 2 and body g r o u n d .

Is there about 5 V?
Y E S — G o to step 12.
NO—Go to step 17.
12. Turn the ignition switch OFF.
13. J u m p the SCS line w i t h the HDS.
14. Disconnect PCM connector C (22P).
15. Connect MAF sensor/IAT sensor 1 5P connector
terminal No. 1 to body g r o u n d w i t h a j u m p e r wire.
