Is there about 2.3— 2.9 kQ, at room temperature?
Y E S — G o t o step 49.
NO—Substitute a k n o w n - g o o d A/C compressor
driver (see page 21-99), then go to step 43 and
recheck. If DTC U0037 is not indicated, replace the
original A/C compressor driver, then go to step 43.
2 1 . J u m p the SCS line w i t h the HDS.
22. Disconnect PCM connector D (17P).
23. Remove the IPU lid (see page 12-140).
24. Disconnect M C M connector A (31P) (see page
12-140).
26. Check for continuity between PCM connector
terminal D1 * and body g r o u n d , and between
terminal D13 and body g r o u n d individually.

Is there continuity?
YES—Repair short in the w i r e between the M C M ,
the A/C compressor driver and the PCM (D13 ( D I D ,
then go to step 43.
N O — G o t o step 27.
25. Disconnect the A/C compressor control unit 4P
connector (see page 21-99).
