Use the area virtual-link dead-interval command in Router OSPFv3
Configuration mode to configure the dead interval for the OSPF virtual
interface on the virtual interface identified by
Syntax
areaid

virtual-link

no area
areaid — Valid OSPFv3 area identifier.
neighbor — Router ID of neighbor.
seconds — Dead interval. (Range: 1-65535)
Default Configuration
40 is the default value for
Command Mode
Router OSPFv3 Configuration mode.
User Guidelines
This command has no user guidelines.
Example
The following example configures a 20-second dead interval for the OSPF
virtual interface on the virtual interface identified by area 1 and its neighbor.
