The show switch command is used to display which unit is the management
unit and which is the backup unit. Global Status Parameters for NSF are
explained as follows:

Description
This field displays the unit identifier assigned to
the switch.
This field indicates whether the switch is the
Management Switch, a stack member, or the
status is unassigned.
This field displays the model identifier of a
preconfigured switch ready to join the stack.
The Model Identifier is a 32-character field
assigned by the switch manufacturer to identify
the switch.
This field displays the model identifier of the
switch in the stack. Model Identifier is a 32-
character field assigned by the switch
manufacturer to identify the switch.
This field indicates the switch status. Possible
values for this state are: OK, Unsupported,
CodeMismatch, ConfigMismatch, or
NotPresent
