Step
2 CHECK AIRBAG HARNESS.
1) Turn the ignition switch to OFF, disconnect
the battery ground cable, and wait for 20 sec-
onds or more.
2) Disconnect the connector (AB8) from airbag
control module.
3) Disconnect connector (AB62) under the
passenger's seat.
4) Connect the connector (1R) in the test har-
ness R to connector (AB8).
5) Connect the connector (1AB) in the test har-
ness AB to the connector (AB62).
6) Measure the resistance between connector
(4R) in the test harness R and connector (2AB)
in the test harness AB.
Connector & terminal
(4R) No. 12 — (2AB) No. 1:
(4R) No. 10 — (2AB) No. 2:
3 CHECK AIRBAG HARNESS.
Measure resistance between connector (4R) in
the test harness R and chassis ground.
Connector & terminal
(4R) No. 12 — Chassis ground:
(4R) No. 10 — Chassis ground:
4 CHECK OCCUPANT DETECTION SYSTEM.
1) Connect connector (AB8) to the airbag con-
trol module.
2) Connect connectors (AB62) and (AB67).
3) Connect the ground cable to the battery.
4) Check the occupant detection system.
