History
Usage A MOTD banner message displays only in EXEC Privilege mode after entering the
Information enable command then the password. These banners do not display to users in
EXEC (non-privilege) mode.
Control and Monitoring
Prompt will be displayed by default
— sets a Message of the Day banner.
— enables the display of a text string when you enter EXEC mode.
Enter a delineator character to specify the limits of the text
banner. The delineator is a percent character (%).
Enter a text string for your message of the day banner
message ending the message with your delineator. The
delineator is a percent character (%).
