Survey - Remote Point

Overview

Remote point is used to determine the 3D coordinates of inaccessible points, for example on
bridges. The horizontal distance to a base point directly underneath or above the remote
point is measured. Then the instrument is aimed at the remote point. The coordinates of the
remote point are calculated with the distance measured to the base point and the angles
measured to the remote point.
