Local Resection

This method can be used to calculate the two or three-dimensional local coordinates for
the instrument station and the orientation of the horizontal circle from distance and
angular measurements to two target points.
The first target point always defines the origin of the local coordinate system. The second
target point, in conjunction with the first target point, always defines the local direction of
North or East (depending on the configuration settings).
For Resection and/or Resection Helmert, refer to "45.6.5 Resection/Resection Helmert".
Important features:
all coordinates calculated are local coordinates.

The second target point, in conjunction with the first target point, always defines the local
direction of North or East.
The following table explains the most common settings.

Description
1.
Press PROG to access the Programs menu.
2.
Select and activate Setup to move to the first screen.
3.
Press CONT (F1) to access SETUP Station Setup.
4.
