4.1 Introduction

All functions of the R&S ESU and their application are explained in detail in this
chapter. The sequence of the described menu groups depends on the procedure
selected for the configuration and start of a measurement:
1. Resetting the instrument
2. Setting the mode
3. Setting the measurement parameters in receiver mode
4. Setting the measurement parameters in IF analyzer mode
5. Setting the measurement parameters in APD mode
6. Setting the measurement parameters in analyzer mode
7. Basic functions for general settings, printout and data management
8. Additional and optional functions
