AIR CONDITIONING
CONDENSER
REMOVAL
1.
DISCHARGE REFRIGERANT FROM REFRIGERATION
SYSTEM
HINT:
At the time of installation, please refer to the following item.
Evacuate air from refrigeration system.
Charge system with refrigerant and inspect for leakage of refrig-
erant.
Specified amount: 430 ± 30 g (15.17 ± 1.06 oz.)

REMOVE FRONT BUMPER (See page BO−4)
3.
REMOVE LIQUID TUBE AND DISCHARGE HOSE
Remove 2 bolts and both tubes.
Torque: 5.4 N·m (55 kgf·cm, 48 in.·lbf)
NOTICE:
Cap the open fittings immediately to keep moisture out of
the system.
HINT:
Lubricate 2 new O−rings with compressor oil and install them
to the tubes.

4.
REMOVE RADIATOR UPPER MOUNTINGS
Remove the 2 bolts, 2 nuts and the 2 upper mountings.

5.
REMOVE CONDENSER
Pull out the condenser.
HINT:
At the time of installation, please refer to the following item.
If condenser was replaced, add compressor oil to the compres-
sor.
Add: 40 cc (1.4 fl. oz.)
Compressor oil: ND−OIL 8 or equivalent
