Calibrating the Auto Header Height Control (Case Combines with Version 28.00 or Higher

Software)

For best performance of the auto header height control (AHHC), perform these procedures with the center-link set
to D. When setup and calibration are complete, adjust the center-link back to desired header angle. For
instructions, refer to
3.7.5 Header Angle, page
NOTE:
Changes may have been made to the combine controls or display since this document was published. Refer to the
combine operator's manual for updates.
NOTE:
If header float is set too light, it can prevent calibration of AHHC. You may need to set the float heavier for
calibration procedure so header doesn't separate from the float module.
1. Ensure header center-link is set to D.
2. Raise header on down stops and unlock float.
3. Place wings in locked position.
4. Select TOOLBOX (A) on the MAIN page
5. Select the HEAD 1 tab (A).
NOTE:
To locate the HEAD 1 tab, you may need to scroll to the
right using side arrows (B).
