The PPG timer can be reactivated at certain intervals when the output of the 16-bit reload timer is set
for toggle output and the following settings are made in the control status register:
RTRG: 1 → Reactivation enabled
EGS1 and EGS0: 11 → Activation at both rising and falling edges
