8/16-bit Up/Down Counters/Timers

This section describes the overview of the 8/16-bit up/down counters/timers, the
configuration and functions of registers, and counter/timer operation.
■ Overview of the 8/16-bit Up/Down Counters/Timers
The 8/16-bit up/down counters/timers consist of six event input pins, two 8-bit up/down counters, two 8-bit
reload/compare registers, and control circuits.
The MB91F355A/355A/354A/F356B/F357B provides two channels for the 8-bit up/down counters/timers.
The MB91F353A/351A/352A/353A provide one channel for the 8-bit up/down counters/timers.
The 8/16-bit up/down counters/timers cannot be used in 16-bit mode.
