Neighbor General Settings

This window is used to view and configure the BGP neighbor's general settings.

To view the following window, click L3 Features > BGP > BGP Neighbor > Neighbor General Settings,

as shown below:

The fields that can be configured in Neighbor General Settings are described below:

Address Family

Select to enable or disable the prefix warning feature here. This

specifies only to generate a system log message when the threshold is

exceeded. If not specified, the peering session will be terminated when

the threshold is exceeded.

Select the address family used here. Options to choose from are IPv4

Unicast, IPv4 VRF, and VPNv4.

IPv4 Unicast: Select to use the IPv4 unicast family here.

IPv4 VRF: Select and enter the IPv4 VRF instance's name that

will be used here. This name can be up to 12 characters long.
