DVMRP Commands

ip dvmrp admin-state

Globally enables or disables DVMRP protocol on the switch.
ip dvmrp admin-state {enable | disable}

Usage Guidelines

This command must be set to enable before DVMRP can run on the switch. In addition, the ip load
dvmrp command must be issued. For more information, refer to the
page 22-2.
•
To enable or disable DVMRP for a particular interface, refer to the
page 22-6.

-> ip dvmrp admin-state enable
-> ip dvmrp admin-state disable
