Remove the 6 bolts. If necessary, tap the extension housing
with a plastic hammer or a block of wood to loosen it.

− SENSOR ROTOR (A340E)
REMOVE EXTENSION HOUSING AND GASKET
REMOVE SPEEDOMETER DRIVE GEAR AND BALL
Using a snap ring expander, remove the snap ring.
Remove the speedometer drive gear and ball.
3RZ−FE:
REMOVE SENSOR ROTOR
Remove the sensor rotor and key.
Using snap ring pliers, remove the snap ring.
5VZ−VE:
REMOVE SENSOR ROTOR
Using a hammer handle, remove the sensor rotor from the
output shaft.
Remove the lock ball.
3RZ−FE:
INSTALL SENSOR ROTOR
using snap ring pliers, install the snap ring.
Install the key and sensor rotor.
