Clean Hose

CAUTION:
Do not suck air through the valve. Petroleum substances
inside the valve are harmful.

If operation is not as specified, replace the PCV valve.

Check for cracks, leaks or damage.

− POSITIVE CRANKCASE VENTILATION (PCV)
SYSTEM
REMOVE PCV VALVE
INSTALL CLEAN HOSE TO PCV VALVE
INSPECT PCV VALVE OPERATION
Blow into the cylinder head cover side, and check that air
passes through easily.
Blow air into the air intake chamber side, and check that
air passes through with difficulty.
REMOVE CLEAN HOSE FROM PCV VALVE
REINSTALL PCV VALVE
VISUALLY INSPECT HOSES AND CONNECTIONS
