(2) For machines with a slide bar
installed: Check the condition of the
slide bar (see arrow). Replace if
worn.
NOTE:
The slide bar is part of delivery of the
"Cassette Fixation Steel Band", spare part
number see section 1.6.
It is installed in digitizers manufactured as
of October 2008. It can easily be
recognized by 2 clamps at the left side of
the cassette unit.

Greasing the Spindle at the Cassette Fixation Unit

(1) Put some grease (Isoflex Topas NB
52; part number see section 1.5) at
the spindle in the area of the spindle
nut. See arrows.
