hinge.

be made a fte r the door is positioned in the opening.

s tr ik e r assem bly with .10 inch clearan ce to the lock
ro to r c o v e r. Use s p ecia l burred shim s as requ ired.
NOTE: U nder usual conditions, shim s are not
requ ired .
5. A s an aid to s tr ik e r adjustment outline the s tr ik e r in
p en cil o r crayon fo r use as a base fo r adjustment.
H orizon ta l slots a re p rovid ed in the s tr ik e r plate to
p osition the s tr ik e r assem b ly la te r a lly so that the
d oor outer su rface is flush with the p illa r su rface at
the door re a r edge within 1/16". R e fe r to F igu re 39.
NOTE: The s tr ik e r inner edge must be p a ra l­
le l to the s tr ik e r mounting dep ression on the
p illa r.
DOOR VENTILATOR ASSEMBLY
Removal
NOTE: The channel between the door window
glass and d oor vent is rem oved as p art o f the
vent assem bly.
1. R egulate the door window gla ss to the fu ll down
position.

2. R em ove one clip each fro m the door lock handle.
3. Rem ove fo u r (4) tr im panel sc rew s and trim panel.
4. Rem ove screw s shown in fig . 41.
5. Slide door window
ventilation.
6. R em ove three sheet m etal screw s at the upper fron t
of the door (fig . 42).
7. Turn the vent assem bly 90° and ca re fu lly rem o ve by
guiding up and out (fig . 42).
Installation
NOTE: R eplace the
regulate to the fu ll down position b efo re in sta ll­
ing the door ven tila tor assem bly.
1. L o w e r the ven tila to r assem bly into the door fr a m e - -
center into position.
