SEATS
D river Seats
Both the standard seat and the optional d r iv e r ' s bucket
seat mount as shown in F igu re 81. A ll attaching screw s
must be torqued to 18 ft. lbs.
Front Passenger Seats
The optional au xiliary seat (fig . 82) and the optional
passen ger bucket seat (fig . 83) are mounted d ifferen tly
due to mounting bracket design d ifferen ces. A ll screw s
and nuts except the seat guide nut and bumper retaining
scrw s must be torqued to 18 ft. lbs. The seat guide nut
must be torqued to 25 ft. lbs. and the bumper retaining
sc re w must be torqued to 30 in. lbs.
Rear Seat
The optional re a r seat is shown in F igu re 84.
NOTE:
A fte r rem ovin g the r e a r seat, rein sta ll
the bolts into the anchor nuts to seal the openings
fro m d irt and fo re ig n m atter. When rein stallin g
the seat, torque all hold-down bolts to 50 ft. lbs.
The re a r seat option also includes two seat belts and a
rubber re a r com partm ent flo o r mat. If rem ovin g the r e a r
seat te m p o ra rily —to haul cargo, fo r instance—it is not
n ecessary to rem ove the seat b elts fro m th eir anchor­
ages as they attach to the r e a r seat support.
