On m odels with New P r o c e s s trans­
m ission, install s e le c to r le v e r b ellcran k snap
ring.

viou sly under "L in k a g e A d ju stm en t.''

NOTE:

tran sm issions having rem ote con trols, such as
tran sm issions used on T ilt Cab M odel veh icles.
Disassembly
1. Using a punch and ham m er, rem ove retaining split
pin (14) fro m rem ote control shift r a il (2). Rem ove
shift yoke (9) and s e le c to r (12) fro m shift r a il (2).
2. Rem ove rubber shift r a il boot (8) and " O " ring boot
reta in er (21). D iscard boot and retain er.
3. R em ove " O " ring seal (20) from shift r a il (2). With
snap rin g p lie rs , rem ove snap ring (19) from shift
r a il (2).
4. Loosen locknut (6) and rem ove shift yoke guide (7)
from c o v e r (5). R em ove locknut (6) from guide (7).
5. Using ham m er and punch, rem ove split pin (24) r e ­
taining shift fin g e r (23) to shift r a il (2).
6. D riv e shift r a il (2) forw ard out o f co ve r (5) forcin g
out expansion (welch plug).
7. R em ove nut (10) and lock washer (11) retaining shift
r a il s e le c to r (12) to ball joint assem bly (13). R e ­
m ove s e le c to r fro m the assem bly (13).

Remote Control Shift Rail Yoke
Bushing Replacement
On transm issions having rem ote controls, accom plish
the follow in g procedu res:
1. P r e s s o r d riv e shift r a il yoke bushing out o f b ore in
yoke.
2. Using a suitable s le e v e , p re s s o r d riv e new bushing
into bore o f shift r a il yoke.
Remote Control Shift Rail
Cover O il Seal Replacem ent
1. P r e s s o r d rive o il seal (22) out o f rem ote control
co v er (5) bore.
2. With a suitable sle e v e , p res s o r d rive new o il seal
(22) into b ore o f co v e r (5) flush.
Cleaning, Inspection and Repair

d escrib ed fo r C lark R em ote Control A ssem bly.
