9. Tighten ste erin g coupling clam p bolt 15 to 22 ft. lbs.
Connect speedom eter cable and all e le c tr ic connec­
to rs that junction with the cab -to-ch assis.
10. Connect a c c e le ra to r linkage and adjust as outlined
under Maintenance and A djustm ents-E ngines.

11. Connect brake hoses and bleed brakes as outlined
under S ervice O peration s-B rakes.
12. Connect clutch fle x ib le
under S ervic e O perations-C lutch.
13. Connect heater hoses and f i l l radiator. Connect bat­
te ry ground strap
assem bly.
14. In stall bumper and bum per f i lle r panel.
NOTE: Check tiltin g and locking action. Ad­
just i f n ecessary fo llo w in g procedure outlined
in this section.

To Raise Cab
(Refer to Figure 105)
NOTE: B efo re tiltin g cab forw ard , rem ove or
position loose p a rticles sa fely in cab, also place
transm ission shift le v e r in neutral and apply
hand brake.
1. C lose both doors of cab.
2. A t righ t re a r of cab rem ove safety chain hook, then
pull lo w er end of hold-down catch r e le a s e le v e r from
spring catch attached to cab.
3. W hile holding safety catch r e le a s e rod to the right,
ra ise hold-down re le a s e
down catch becom es disengaged and r e a r of cab
ra isee fro m mount.
until check link at right front mounting, locks cab
sa fely in fu ll-tilt position.
