R em ove the control a ssem b ly as outlined under CON­
T R O L A S S E M B LY and
cab les. When replacing the tem perature cable, rem ove
the glo ve box assem bly to reach the tem perature cable
a c c e s s plate at the top of the core case.

Removal (Fig. 14)
1. R em ove glove box assem bly.
2. Unplug harness connector fro m r e s is to r unit.
m ove the unit attaching screw s and rem ove unit.
Installation
1. P la c e re s is to r unit in distribu tor duct and d rive in
attaching screw s. Connect harness connector to unit.
2. Install glove box assem bly.
Tilt Cab
Removal (Fig. 1 5)
1. Rem ove the distributor duct to cowl mounting screw s.
R em ove the d istribu tor duct to b low er case attaching
screw s.
2. Disconnect the d e fro s te r ducts at the distributor and
m ove the d istribu tor away fro m the cowl until the
re s is to r unit is a ccessib le.
3. Disconnect the b low er harness connector and r e ­
m ove the unit mounting screw s.
Installation
1. P la c e the r e s is to r unit in the distribu tor duct and
d riv e in the mounting screw s.

2. P la c e the d istribu tor duct in position and assem ble
it to the b low er case.
3. Mount the case to the cowl and connect the d efro s te r
ducts to it.
