HEADLAMP ADJUSTMENT—T-3 HEADLAMP (Fig. 2)
H ead lam p Aim ing
The headlamps must be p ro p e rly aim ed to obtain m ax­
imum road illum ination.
With the Guide T -3 type sealed beam units, p rop er
aim ing is even m ore im portant because the in creased
range and p ow er o f this lam p make even slight variation s
fro m
recom m ended
aim ing
m otorists.
The headlamps must be checked fo r p ro p er aim when­
e v e r a sealed beam unit is rep laced and a fte r re p a irs of
the fron t end sheet m etal assem bly.
R eg a rd less of the method used fo r checking headlamp
aim , the truck must be at norm al weight, that is with gas,
o il, w ater and spare tir e .

Some states have sp ecia l requirem ents fo r headlamp
aim ing adjustment and these requirem ents must be known
and follow ed.
